Tom Nook's Lonely Christmas :(
I set the Gamecube clock to December 25 to see what happened. Tom Nook sent me a letter to say he was with his parents for Christmas, but when I went to the shop I saw him there on his own! I think he was lying about going to see his parents because he didn’t want me to feel sorry for him being alone at Christmas. :(

Anyway, (and I'm not sure if this is true, but) I heard that the reason Nook's prices are so high is that he is saving up for a wedding ring for Sable. But here's how i got nookingtons:
When you have the shop right before nookingtons, (I can't remember what it's called) have someone from a different town buy something at your shop.

I found this page in my old bookmarks, and, hell, I cracked up at how hilarious that argument was. All I can say was, I was one freakin' awesome Animal Crossing-diehard 11 year old. One that accidentally thought someone was yelling at her for having no brain instead of actually complimenting her and got defensive, but still well-played. Anon was proud.
But I just had to gawk at how many people attacked it afterwards as if it really mattered who was right. Really, people? Was it really worth your time and attention to respond /seriously/ to a kid's fight? Please consider yourself.
Yes, it doesn't make sense to argue over a game. It also doesn't make sense to hang out on a blog wasting life over calling middle schoolers idiots and immature. Middle schoolers have always been immature. Don't you remember being in middle school? I'm sure you weren't anymore wise than them.

i'm the person who started the argument on this page very long ago, and i'm sorry for posting all of those hurtful and immature comments that most of the time don't make sense. i felt bad about them as well as my previous attempts at apologizing, and so i am issuing a final apology to leave with my peace. that's classic comment regret for you.
all of the comments were the product of a person of the past, going through quite a lot of crap. stuff like that has that effect on you, unfortunately, but its no excuse.
personal apologies to neokitty, the webmaster, for disrupting your blog (or, possibly, drawing unnecessary traffic from the spectacle), and to the young woman i quarreled with, for engaging you.
it doesnt make sense to post any more about it from now on -- there arent any 11 year olds that need reminding of their mistakes anymore so that would just be preaching for nothing and talking to no one at this point.
we all make mistakes so no one is entitled to pick on someone else forever, especially for something as common as internet flame wars over fictional characters. ridiculing people isn't cool; instigating isn't cool; bullying isn't cool; trolling isn't cool; regardless of how you feel about someone or something just don't do it.
